"You came all this way just to say that?" Eira looked at him, her tone flat.
"Yeah." Alexander tossed the report onto the table in front of her, his voice cold. "Eira, get rid of the baby. It's the best for both of us."
She let out a quiet scoff. Persistent, huh?
Eira's eyes narrowed as she studied his unreadable face. "You seriously can't stand the idea of him existing? Wow, didn't know you were that heartless. You're really a piece of work."
She genuinely couldn't wrap her head around why he cared so much.
They were already divorced. The child would be born as a Johnson, wouldn't carry the Brooks name, and certainly wouldn't have anything to do with his family. So what was his issue?
