Alexander happened to be near the Johnson Corp when Andrew's call came in. He rushed over immediately-only to witness Eira collapsing right before his eyes. "Eira!" His voice rang out sharply. He hurried forward and caught her just in time, but she looked pale as a sheet, like all the color had drained from her face. "The baby..." Eira's voice trembled, barely audible. Her hands gripped Alexander's arm tightly, as if that was all she had to hold on to. He couldn't quite catch what she said but didn't stop to ask again. "Eira, stay with me, okay? I'm taking you to the hospital right now." But Eira was already slipping into unconsciousness, not responding at all. Not daring to waste another second, Alexander snapped to his assistant. "Get the car. We're going now." Without waiting for an answer, he lifted Eira and made for the entrance. But Martha stepped in his path. "Alex, I just gave her a little shove-nothing serious. I didn't think she'd fall! You don't blame your mother, do you?" H
