Peter's words were like a heavy punch to the gut. Caspian trembled, panic overtaking him as he crawled over to Peter and grabbed his pant leg. "N-No, I don't want a divorce!" He repeated the words over and over, desperately begging Peter to take them back. He couldn't imagine what life would be like without Shannon. Gabriel kicked him aside. His voice dripped with sarcasm. "You don't want a divorce? Do you expect Shannon to raise your mistress' child?" The mention of the child made Caspian's eyes suddenly light up. Yes, they still had the baby! "Right, we can't get divorced. What about the child?" Peter scoffed. This was the first time he found Caspian utterly foolish. Just as Julia was about to speak, Alena rushed over upon hearing the word "divorce" and exclaimed, "Yes! Divorce her! We don't want a woman who can't have children! Besides, I'll have a grandson soon. When that happens, I'll have my son marry the mother of the child!" "Mom!" Caspian shouted, stopping Alena from s
