Camilla I looked around the shop, my eyes landing on a stunning three-tier cake decorated with delicate flowers and swirls of frosting. "That one is beautiful. Can we taste a sample?" The shop owner nodded, leading us over to the counter and cutting a small piece of the cake for us to try. I took a bite, savoring the rich flavor and moist texture. "This is perfect," I declared, looking over at Ella for confirmation. She nodded, her mouth full of cake. "Definitely. Your mom will love it." The shop owner smiled, clearly pleased with our reaction. "Excellent choice. Would you like to place an order?" "Yeah, why not?" I responded. "Let me just get my credit card." I reached into my purse and pulled out my credit card, handing it to the shop owner. He swiped it through the machine, and I signed the receipt with a flourish. "All set," he said, handing me back my card. The cake will be ready for pick-up at 3 p.m. today. Does that work for you?" I nodded. "Perfect, thank you so much."
