I thought that by speaking so decisively that day, Ian would finally leave me alone.
But I was wrong.
Since then, he started showing up at every one of my matches, even buying VIP seats. Ignoring him became impossible.
Later, he began sponsoring the competitions I entered with his own money. Once, he even personally handed me the trophy.
I kept telling myself just to endure it a little longer, but to my surprise, it was Caius who lost patience before I did.

Upon realizing what he was about to do, I dashed over to stop him. I didn't even have time to grab my trophy.
"What are you doing? Get back here!" I shouted.
Caius shot me a defiant look. "How long is he planning to hang around? You already said you wanted a divorce, so why hasn't he gotten lost yet?"
I patted his clenched fist and gave a helpless smile. "Hey, hitting someone is illegal. Unfold that fist."
