"What exactly was injected into him?" James Bennett finally remembered to ask Maria Lewis.
"Some kind of poison that only becomes deadly in huge amounts. Honestly, even if that whole vial went in, it wouldn’t kill him. But it could mess with his brain—slow reactions or memory loss."

Angela Johnson tilted her chin toward the couch. "So, who's he working for?"
"No clue. He had a knife on him, could’ve offed Daniel Lewis in one strike. Instead, he went with non-lethal drugs. Doesn’t add up."
