Looking at Maria completely out cold on the bed, the man leaned against the wall, panting hard like he’d just finished a marathon. “Damn... finally done.” He rested for a bit, then climbed off the bed, pulled a tiny bottle out of another pocket, took a look at Maria, and sneered. “Mr. Parker's interested in you. That’s your lucky break—you should be thanking your stars.” As he spoke, he shook out a small white pill from the bottle—innocent-looking, nothing special. With the pill pinched between his fingers, he leaned in to pry open Maria’s mouth. But just then—bam! The door flew open with a thunderous bang. James stormed in, eyes bloodshot, veins twitching on his temples, exuding a pressure so intense it was like the whole room froze. He looked ready to tear someone apart.
