"You're so impatient," said Cameron, smiling warmly at Dakota. Dakota giggled. She couldn't wait for him to tell her about the past. She wanted to know how she helped him back then to make him remember her so dearly. Cameron asked, "Do you remember meeting a young boy on a winter night 15 years ago?" "15 years ago?" Dakota repeated after him as she tried recalling the past. It was a long, long time ago, after all. "I must've been six years old at that time," she mumbled as her thoughts raced. "Madison and I went to the market and bought a pair of hair clips." Glimpses of the past slowly appeared in her mind as she continued mumbling to herself. Cameron, on the other hand, froze when she mentioned "hair clip". There was no mistaking it! Dakota was definitely the person who saved Cameron all those years ago. He finally understood why Madison had a hair clip that looked exactly like the one the young girl who saved him had worn. Dakota and Madison each had one hair clip.
