Everything fell silent for a brief moment. It was Wayne! Miranda felt like her world was crashing down. Why would Wayne be with Lucas? Miranda took a sip of water to calm herself down. Wayne told her he would help her. Was he going to talk some sense into Lucas or threaten him? Did Lucas know that she was "involved" with Wayne? But that wasn't the most important thing. Wayne had heard her talking earlier. Did he recognize that she was Rita? Miranda coughed twice and subconsciously changed her voice when she spoke again. She started putting on an act and asked, despite knowing the answer, "And you are?" Wayne was stunned for a moment, but he quickly figured it out. She was still keeping up her act in front of him. Wayne played along with her, pretending not to know. "I'm Wayne Sunders," he answered. "Oh," Miranda said with a knowing tone. Wayne smiled and listened to her act. "So you're Mr. Sunders," she continued. "Yes," Wayne replied. "He didn't disturb you, did he?"
