#Chapter 34- Troublemaker
Fiona POV
Sighing, I fall into the furthest empty seat from the loud groups of people eating their lunches. Thankfully, I’m by myself with no tagalong following me around. Chloe and Nolan went out for lunch, so I have at least an hour of freedom before she comes back.
An hour of which I will cherish.
I take my food out of my lunch bag, and just as I’m about to take a bite of my sandwich, I feel the heavy weight of someone’s eyes on me. I try to ignore it, but after several uncomfortable minutes, I look around.
Andy walks toward me, smiling broadly as if he doesn’t know the sight of him doesn’t make me feel sick. I turn away quickly, hoping futilely that he’ll leave me alone.
“Fiona.”
The grating, obnoxious voice that is so very familiar calls my name. After two long days of training Chloe, I hadn’t run into Andy yet. I had hoped I wouldn’t, but of course, that’s too much to ask for.
Most of the time, I don’t see him while working, unless we attend the same meeting,
