#Chapter 72- Exposed
Fiona POV
It’s been several days since I found Nolan and Tara together, left the evidence against Andy at Nolan’s house, and ran into Nolan at the hospital. Since then, Nolan has been practically ignoring me the entire time. The only time he talks to me is when he leaves written messages on my desk with instructions on what he wants me to do for the day.
Other than that, he either stays in his office and ignores me, or he acts like I’m not here when he moves through the room. It hurts that he would think I was working with Andy to hurt Chloe. I thought he knew me better than that, but I guess not.
I was just someone he used to pass the time, and all that talk about me being worth more than my past was just that. Talk.
The moment he had the chance, Nolan used my past as an excuse to judge me. He didn’t hesitate to throw me under the bus with Andy, and I can’t get that out of my head. It hurt just as much as the betrayal from Andy when I went to prison.
