I stared at Olivia across the docks, my chest swelling with pride as I took in her confident stance, her eyes lit up with a newfound sense of determination.
Just two weeks ago, she had been a novice, still learning to harness the incredible powers of the Ancient Wolf that flowed through her veins. But after witnessing her relentless training firsthand, I knew she had become a real force to be reckoned with.
As I stood there in the dim orange light of the lanterns, I still felt sore from our battle. She had won fair and square, and had left a tiny scar on my ear to prove it.
