Liv's POV
Thankfully, Vivienne and mother had left. And after a while in the living room, I needed some alone time.
I had excused myself and went into the guest room where I would be staying for a while. Rose was very decent, the room has a subtle shade of purple decors and a lilac bedding. It has a plush cream coloured carpet at the centre and right next to it was a purple couch.
The evening had gradually settled into a gentle calm, the kind of stillness that begged for distraction.
I sat curled up on the bed, idly scrolling through social media, my fingers flicking mindlessly across designs from aspiring creators.
The sharp ding of a notification broke the quiet rhythm. Aaron had posted something on Instagram.
Curiosity got the better of me, though I knew it would likely be another one of his melodramatic attempts to draw attention.
As I tapped on the notification, his post filled my screen. The image was of a dimly lit bar counter, a half-empty glass of whiskey in focus.
