Liv’s POV I stood there for a few seconds, my heart pounding in my chest. I couldn’t believe what had just happened. There I was, standing in the VIP entrance of the Blackwood Corporation building, having a near confrontation with Kaelon. But of course there was nothing I could really do other than to just stand there and take it. I wanted to scream, to yell at him for being so condescending, but I caught myself just in time.
