CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN
The days before the ceremony rushed by in a crazy but splendid blur. Ruby found herself busier than she had ever been since she arrived at the Greyhound pack.
The hassle started after her little outing with Linda. She had returned back to Noah’s mansion to spend the night. The morning after, she snuggled beside him, staring at his peaceful sleeping face. Ruby could spend the whole day studying and memorizing his softened features. Although his lips were still in a thin line, the stern, blank expression was gone and replaced with a more relaxed look.
That was three days ago, the last time she had seen him. Linda had instructed her to stay at her place, which she had no choice but to do so. The older woman was in her element—planning and finalizing a gazillion things before the day of the ceremony.
