CHAPTER SIXTY-SEVEN
What started like a small window being pushed open, letting in a stream of light, turned into her whole being, giving way to the memory that had been hidden beneath. It felt like a dream, but the scenarios grew too familiar. The unknown-looking, dainty little house revealed so many reminiscences of the life she couldn't remember living.
Ruby looked down at herself. The surroundings look nothing like Linda's home she had awoken in. There was no sound of alarm or people running to safety or to defend. She wasn't dressed in the simple lounge clothing Linda had given her. Instead, she was in a sage green dungaree with a white shirt underneath. Her hair was tied in two long braids dangling over her shoulder.
"Ruby."
She turned in the direction of the voice. The familiar woman walked towards her. The same woman she had seen countless times during her episodes. Each time, she was transfixed by her beauty and surreal aura. Her black hair was tied at the back of her head in a loose ponytail,
