Alexandra turned her gaze to the arrival gate.
At her words, Evelyn instinctively followed her line of sight, blinking quickly.
She searched through the sea of people, straining to spot familiar faces.
Her memories of the Hayes family were still stuck in childhood. She'd seen pictures of her uncles on the news plenty of times, but those were just photos—flat and distant.
It had been so long since she'd actually seen them in person, she couldn't even remember how many years it had been.
