Chapter 405
The screen showed an ongoing call.
The caller was Bernard Everett.
The second Joshua Everett saw the name pop up, his face went cold in an instant.
Glaring at Julian Everett, he gritted his teeth. “You set me up, Julian.”
He hadn’t expected Julian to be on a call with Bernard. And all those things he’d just pinned on Julian? His father had heard them loud and clear.
Even Danielle Everett started feeling something was off.
Julian, that scheming guy.
No wonder he kept his mouth shut at first—just waiting to dump all the blame on his big brother. He’d planned this from the get-go.
Julian didn’t even blink at Joshua’s accusation.
He shot Stephen Miller a look.
Stephen instantly ended the call.
The temperature in the meeting room seemed to drop a few degrees.
Julian’s expression remained unchanged.
He replied coolly, “All I did was let him know there was an issue with the order.”
“I mean, come on, he’s involved too. Even if he’s been kicked to the sidelines, he’s got the right to know.”
