On the way to the hospital, Julian stole a glance at Evelyn from the corner of his eye. After a stretch of silence, he finally cleared his throat and asked, "Nathaniel came to see you because of that apology video, didn't he?" Evelyn nodded. "Yeah, his grandfather talked to me this morning. I gave them a deal—he apologizes, and I won't drop any more dirt." "Releasing that video's definitely gonna hit his image hard." "Mr. Andrews didn't fire him, but all his projects have been put on hold," Evelyn explained calmly. That was exactly why Nathaniel had shown up. Julian let out a sarcastic chuckle. "So he comes crawling to you acting all sincere, just to keep his grandpa off his back. Classic." "I've seen shameless, but this guy's really next level." Evelyn tilted her head, looking at Julian with a smirk. "He had the audacity to say right to my face that he wasn't behind the wedding kidnapping. You can tell he's prepping for a redemption arc."
