She froze and went still. Now all eyes were on her, and murmurs had broken out. The guys knew the truth-they stood with hands folded over their chests, watching the girl squirm face pale as a ghost. I looked at her with cold, unyielding eyes.
"Addison, I'm going to ask you again. Who attacked you?"
"I don't know," she whispered.
"I didn't catch that; speak louder."
"I SAID I DON'T KNOW!" she yelled. Her lips trembled and her knees quivered. I sighed, letting out my fury and frustration. Could she be any sillier? I wanted to pity her, but she'd brought this on herself.
"So you lied to your pack members and tried to pin the blame on an innocent person," I said. "Why did you do it, Addison?"
"She doesn't deserve to be here or a part of our pack. She's a rogue! The same ones who killed your parents, and the same one you're sleeping with!" she said. Her words sent hot knives of fury twisting through my gut. I didn
