Standing in front of the window, Christina watched the dark, ominous clouds gather in the sky. The wind had picked up, howling through the night like a wolf searching for its pack. The first crack of thunder split the air, followed by the rolling boom that reverberated overhead. Christina silently observed the flashes of lightning and mumbled to herself, “He was right. It really is a stormy night.”
