I still spoke nobody further as walked to the double-barreled portals and opened
the left bone to slip out of the space.
The foyer was quiet as I stepped out. I could hear the slight squeak of the hinges
on the door as! closed it. Letting out a long breather, I walked through to the
stairs and made my expressway over. But as I passed the top, I stopped at seeing
someone listing against the rail.
' Sounds like you pissed him off this time. Bravo sprat." Lennox reflected, smiling
admiringly at me.
'Why are you praising me? I could 've gotten myself killed in there. " I reminded
him.
I allow that I did n't feel that fond of Lennox, and I did n't want to be close to him
if] did n't have to. While I 'd had a many reservations about Israfel, I could at
least enunciate that he was likable. Lennox was most clearly not from the little I
