A strange, inexplicable emotion coiled around Hunter's heart, and he said, "Blake, push me forward. I need to see."
Blake set down his dessert and wiped his hands. He was just about to push Hunter's wheelchair, but the uneven grass hid small stones beneath it, making it difficult to move. Moreover, the bustling crowd was not paying attention to their surroundings, and someone accidentally bumped into him.
Hunter lurched forward and crashed onto the ground. At that exact moment, a voice rang out from the front.
"I'm so grateful—"
Hunter's head snapped up, his eyes widening in shock, his entire body frozen in disbelief. The words echoed in his ears, over and over, sounding almost unreal.
It was Estrella's voice.
He struggled and tried to push himself up, but his legs were useless. Blake had heard it, too. His own eyes grew wide in disbelief.
Blake was tall. When he stretched onto his toes for a better view, his face paled. He exclaimed, "Hunter! It's really Estrella!"
