Beatrice was out of options and had no choice but to call Troy.
This call was supposed to be her last trump card, something she'd only planned to use against that other person. But right now, saving Aidan was all that mattered. She simply couldn't let her son go to prison.
Beatrice dialed Troy's number over and over, but he never picked up. Panic began to creep in.
