Suddenly, Tristan reached over and gently took Cassandra's slender wrist, guiding her hand to the side so he could snag a grape for himself. He bit into one, but his expression immediately twisted.

Cassandra laughed as Tristan's whole face scrunched up. She couldn't help but find it hilarious.
"You really can't handle sour things, huh?"
Tristan shook his head. "I'm fine with most things, but this one's both sour and bitter."
Cassandra looked at him, puzzled. When she'd tried them, they had tasted perfectly sweet. They hadn't seemed sour at all.
"How is that possible?"
Tristan suggested, "Why don't you try it yourself?"
Before she could answer him, he leaned in to kiss her.
Cassandra pushed him away before he could get close. "I can eat by myself."
