Chapter 1164
Shane spoke to Tamara in a gentle voice. He picked the plate of pasta up and twirled a couple of strands around the fork. "Here, have something to eat."
"He might be alive today, but what about tomorrow? Even if he's alive tomorrow, how about the day after that?"
Tamara sat up and glared at Shane angrily. "Isn't he your son? Why did you give him a push instead of stopping him?"
Becoming emotional, she flipped the plate of pasta out of Shane's hands.
The pasta splattered all over the floor, with hot steam still wafting into the air. Some of the sauce splattered on the back of Shane's hand, making it turn red instantly.
Nevertheless, he couldn't be bothered with any of that. Staring at Tamara getting all hysterical, he realized that he had never seen her like this throughout all these years.
"Xavier isn't the type of person we can restrain. Rather than stopping him, wouldn't it be better for us to support him? If he has a clear conscience, we should respect his choice," Shane
