After Chantelle was done washing up, Terence carried her downstairs for breakfast.
Even though less than 20 minutes had passed since Maryanne had informed him about Janet not coming over, he had made plans for him and Chantelle for the day.
"I'll take you to watch a movie later," he said, placing a sandwich in front of Chantelle.
"A movie?"
Chantelle objected immediately, "No, we can't. It won't be convenient for me to leave home with my foot like this. Plus, this is the only outfit I have. I haven't even washed my clothes from last nigh—"
Before she even finished her sentence, Terence pointed toward the balcony.
Chantelle looked behind, only to see all the clothes she changed out of last night drying on the balcony. Even her undergarments had been hung out to dry.
Her face flushed red instantly.
"I was actually planning for us to watch a movie at home," Terence clarified in a calm voice, as if there was nothing unusual at all.
