"Longinium's weather is really unpredictable," Terence remarked when he saw Lily put her phone aside. "The forecast says it'll be sunny this afternoon."
She took a sip of her coffee and nodded. "I wasn't used to it when I first got here. Though the weather's pretty good all year round, the nights can be really cold. The worst part is that I have no heating, so it takes three or four days for my laundry to dry."
This season wasn't great either. The humidity in the air was staggering whenever it rained, making it even harder for clothes to dry. It was worse during continuous rainy days—she didn't even want to get started on that.
"Do you like Longinium?" Terence asked with a smile. "Are you planning to settle down here, or do you think you'll go back to Jadeford?"
This had never crossed Lily's mind before.
Shaking her head, she replied, "I'll take it one step at a time. Both places have their pros and cons."
