Terence caught Lily off guard. She instinctively withdrew her hand, but just as she was about to slip away from his grasp, he tightened his grip around her fingers. Both of them were stunned. Lily faltered. "Sorry, I was taken aback. You… You can just stay here. I'll head inside now." The entrance was blocked by a few cars. They had been waiting for a while, but the cars didn't seem to budge for the time being. "I'll walk you inside." Terence released her, parked his car by the roadside, and then got out. His determination and swift movements left her with little time to reject him. She got out of the car and closed the door.
