Lily turned and walked back into the studio.
Lulu caught up to her and asked, "Ms. Joyner, who were they? What did they want from you?"
"I saved the girl when she collapsed from low blood sugar, so they came to thank me," Lily replied, keeping the answer brief.
"Huh?" Lulu was curious. "Shouldn't their parents be the ones showing up for something like that?"
Lily paused in her tracks, then smiled at Lulu. "That's not really important. Get back to work."
"Okay," Lulu replied and hurried back to her desk.
