Everyone immediately looked at Fabian. Fabian was a powerful man. All he needed to do was say the word to get things done, yet he was asking Suzanne to discuss something with her. Austin and Christopher thought nothing of it; they were merely curious. On the other hand, Roxanne thought that Suzanne was being treated too nicely. She looked at Austin and realized he was always looking at Suzanne. He rarely took his eyes off her, an observation that made Roxanne's gaze darken. Looking at Fabian, Suzanne agreed as her curiosity got the better of her. "Mr. Zander, do tell." She walked over to the coffee table and poured Fabian a cup of tea. Fabian accepted the cup of tea before saying, "I'd like you to become my goddaughter. Will you?" Everyone was stunned. Christopher was the first one to yell, "Grandpa, no!"
