Furrowing her brows, Suzanne lowered her voice and asked, "What's happening?" It hadn't been long since she last spoke to Shane over the phone. But now, he had bad news to share? With a tinge of urgency in his voice, Shane explained, "Marcus found out about Seline's return. He's now getting people to seek her out." Previously, they had considered all possibilities except Marcus. If he sought her out, it would probably ruin their plans in finding out who the mastermind was. That being said, Suzanne exhaled in relief when she heard what Shane said. Everything would be fine as long as the "bad news" wasn't referring to anything else. After sitting down on the couch, she replied softly, "That's alright. Just leave him be. I'll give Marcus a heads-up so that he doesn't ruin our plans." Only then did Shane's anxiety diminish. Leaning back in his office chair, he nodded in understanding. "That's good to know." Initially, his biggest worry was Marcus killing Seline after he found
