《Avery's POV 》
I grunted softly after they threw me back on the bed in the room I had just escaped from. It was empty unlike how I had left it but Liam's blood was still on the floor.
My vision was getting wearier each seconds that passed but I struggled to keep myself awake. Liam, he wasn't what I thought he was. Who knows what he would do if I was unconscious.
I pressed harder on my wound, to stop the bleeding. This one stab had managed to sever the connection I had with Lydia.
I whimpered softly as the blood kept pouring out. I thought I had passed this situation. The burning sensation the silver knife gave me felt so familiar.
That day, out in the snow, I still couldn't forget it. And to think the person that would use a silver blade on me again was the one who protected me then.
It hurts... so much but I have to try and take in the pain. I need to stop the bleeding or else, I will bleed to death. So, I managed to sit up and pulled the stained bed covers into a heap.
