Chapter 139
Amara had expected to wake up in the morning to an empty apartment and well, the happiness that came along with knowing that Tobias had finally gotten the message she wanted him to.
But, much to her dismay, that wasn’t the way her morning started. The first thing she noted when she was awoken to the sound of fest padding all across her apartment, was the strong scent of something delicious being cooked in her kitchen.
Amara frowned.
Had a thief broken in and started making her breakfast?
Wasn’t that a little strange?
Frowning, she slowly pulled the covers off her body and headed for the door, only to freeze when she stepped into the kitchen and recognized Tobias’s familiar back.
“God no,” She muttered right before she could stop herself. The sound, caused Tobias to turn around.
“Morning,” He greeted calmly, lowering the heat on the gas to turn and face her. “I’m making breakfast.”
“And who gave you the right to do so?” Amara questioned, walking into the kitchen and turning the gas off.
