The Rogue Foundation's new headquarters was everything I'd dreamed it would be, and more than I'd dared to hope for.
Jacob had outdone himself. The old riverside building had been transformed—fifteen floors of purpose. Medical clinic on the first floor, community center on the second, transitional housing referrals on the third, Full Moon Security on the fourth for cases that needed medical monitoring during shifts. Administrative offices and my own workspace ran along the fifteenth floor, with windows that looked out over the river on both sides, giving a view that stretched from Moonstone's forested ridges in the north to Silverclaw's iron-gray hills in the south.
There were wolves everywhere when I walked in—some waiting for appointments, others volunteering, others just existing in a space where they didn't have to explain themselves or hide what they were.
