The Rogue Foundation was thriving.
Three new clinics had opened in the last six months—one in the Northern Territories, one near the coast, and one just outside Solmire. We had a waiting list for community housing, a training program for former rogues who wanted to integrate into pack life, and a legal defense fund that had already won its first three cases before the Council.
After my letter challenging Cassandra's sentence, the Council had finally agreed to review rogue rights—a formal, binding review with input from rogues themselves, not just pack leaders speaking on their behalf. It had taken four months, three follow-up submissions, and one very heated Council session where I'd stood at the podium and told a room full of Alphas that a system built on excluding people wasn't strength, it was fear. The vote had passed by a single margin.
