It would have been impossible for anyone to withstand a hail of gunfire. Yet, Perseus had done exactly that, remaining completely unscathed as he stood before them. There were more than 30 people who had fired at him until their magazines were emptied, leaving a heap of hot, smoking bullet casings at Perseus' feet—a proof that their attack had completely failed.
Davy clutched his head and exclaimed, "Oh my God! What the hell is going on here? Is he even human? Is he some kind of god? How could he be invincible?"
Davy was utterly terrified by Perseus—or, to be more precise, he was utterly subdued by Perseus.
"Why would I even bother catching your bullets, Alfred? Is there even a point?" Perseus shrugged, his eyes gleaming with mockery as he stared at Alfred.
"N-No! H-How could this be?" Alfred stammered, shaking his head in disbelief. His thoughts were a jumbled mess as he failed to process what had happened. He was utterly overwhelmed by Perseus' display.
