Vivian admitted it. She had chosen Logan, and it had taken her seven years to see what he really was. That decision had been stupid.
"Maybe I was stupid, but at least I was brave," she shot back. "That's still better than someone who hides in the dark, too scared to love the woman he loves. That kind of cowardice is worse."
Kingston's face darkened as he stared at her. It felt like the temperature around them dropped a few degrees.
