Thinking back on it now, Julian Archer realized he’d only glanced at it while chatting, so it didn’t really register. The name belonged to Mrs. King’s husband, which did ring a bell, but not enough to jog his full memory.
“Dan, something just came up. I’ll call you later.”
He didn’t wait for Daniel Allen to reply before ending the call.
Julian stood up and headed out, dialing Claire Richards as he walked.

Next, he called Brandon Harris. “Pop into the banquet hall and see if something’s off. I’ve been trying to call Claire, but she’s not picking up.”
Brandon was chilling in the car playing games. The moment he heard that, he sat up. “On it.”
“Send me the address while you’re at it.”
