The truth was, Kylie had stayed up on purpose to wait for Isaac. She wasn't even sure why. Maybe it was something Rachel said earlier that struck a chord. Whatever the reason, she had made up her mind. She wanted to give it one more try. She didn't know what the outcome would be, but she knew that if she didn't even try, she would regret it one day. Isaac walked over to her. Standing before her, he looked down, his lashes low over his sharp eyes. His voice came out low and rough. "Mom said you're planning to act in a movie?" Kylie wasn't surprised he knew. She looked up at him and gave a slight nod. "Yeah." At that, his brows furrowed immediately. His face darkened, and after a moment of silence, he asked, "Is Sebastian involved in this movie?" "He's the male lead," she answered simply. Isaac's gaze darkened. A few seconds passed before he asked again, his voice low, "There are plenty of roles you could have chosen from. Why does it have to be that one with him?" Kylie's gaze
