I see Harris look at Carter with a skeptical look. "This is Carter, he's not a threat to us. He's on our side. He's been helping me train over the past few weeks. He's one of the only reasons why I'm still alive right now." Harris looks over my shoulder to Carter before nodding his head. "Thank you." Carter nods his head before turning away from us, giving us a little privacy. Harris closes his eyes before taking in a deep, ragged breath. When he opens his eyes again, they're swirling with all kinds of different emotions. "You can't be on the battlefield," Harris tells me with a stern expression. "I can't just sit on the sidelines! I want to help!" Harris shakes his head and gently grips my shoulders. "I won't be able to fight knowing that you could be getting hurt by someone. Please stay here with Leo and Carter. It will give me a peace of mind," he says while staring into my eyes. I pout slightly before nodding my head.
