Two months had passed so fast, stealing the chaos and trials accumulated in the past. But one thing it didn’t erase or steal away was Renata's pain. She would need over two months to heal from all that had happened.
Domingo had been the only one who made her remain sane and not make drastic decisions which haunted her even in her sleep.
That day, after confirming the death of Eduardo, he had taken her to the beach where he said he usually escaped to when everything felt overwhelming, and needed to clear his head.
“This place holds so many tragic memories for me. But I found myself coming back here every time, and that was when I realized that I’ve spent all my life being sad.” He said as he held her hand that day as they walked toward the waters.
“When was the first time you were here?” She asked, looking at his sad face.
“The day I ended my marriage with Constanza, and she denied me access to see Santiago.” He replied with a voice still laced with pain.
