"Calvin, I checked the surveillance footage and contacted the cab driver. He said Alexia got out of the cab around 12:30 pm and headed toward Serenity Chapel."
"And then?" Calvin's voice was tight.
"That's it. The driver said the area around Serenity Chapel is practically deserted—remote, overgrown, and with no cameras. There's no record of her taking any other transportation, whether bus or cab."
"So, she's likely still at the chapel?"
Levi hesitated, saying, "More accurately, there's a 90% chance she's somewhere in the mountains. She could be lost… Or worse, she might've run into trouble."
Calvin's grip on his phone tightened, and an unfamiliar sense of panic crept into his chest.
