"I don't want it. I don't have an appetite," I coldly muttered and pushed the food she had placed in front of me aside.
Sophia raised her eyebrows slightly, quickly changing the dish and offering me something else. "If you don't like the grilled salmon, try this one instead."
"Sophia, are you done yet?" I shot her a look of irritation, the frustration I was desperately trying to suppress growing stronger.
I knew she didn't love me, and that was the truth. Everything she was doing now was out of guilt, but I didn't need her to make up for it.
Sophia noticed my sudden outburst, and a fleeting look of helplessness flashed across her dark eyes.
I stared at her coldly and said indifferently, "If you feel guilty, then just divorce me. That's the best way to make it up to me."
"Let's never bring this up again," Sophia replied. "I don't want to hear it a second time."
