209 A Needed Conversation
Erom groaned inwardly at Kelley. Clapping his hands over his mouth only made the situation worse. Now, Ella would think he had instructed them not to let her alone. Which, by the way, was true. He had told them to keep their latest intel among themselves.
The glare from Ella's eyes was enough to make the strongest of hearts weak but Erom was in fact pleased. He had gotten her to admit that she was hiding something, which was his intention all along.
He turned to the boy now who was staring at them wearily.
