Natalie's hands trembled as she looked at Nancy and Hillary, who were standing at the doorway.
Hillary strode forward, arms still crossed. "Looks like you're the ones who should be leaving."
Winter clenched her teeth, then lifted her gaze to Gideon with a hopeful smile. "Gideon, we wanted to eat here, too. Why don't we all eat together?"
"They're the ones who booked the private room, not me," Gideon replied coldly.
Left with no choice, Winter turned to Hillary. "Let's just eat together! It'll be my treat."
"I'm sorry, but if I had to sit at the same table as you, I'd probably choke," Hillary shot back without hesitation.
"You!"
Winter was fuming. Still, she could only watch helplessly as the three of them went upstairs, stomping her foot in frustration.
When she turned around, she noticed Natalie staring at them too, her expression unreadable.
"Forget it. They only got lucky because Gideon showed up!" Winter's eyes darkened with malice. "That damned Hillary is such a nuisance.
