Mr. Grace went over the whole situation with Mr. Williams again.
"That brat did a good job." Hearing that Joseph had invested in the Grace Group, Mr. Williams was visibly pleased. That's his son indeed.
The two chatted for a bit about business matters, and mid-conversation, Joseph came back.
"There you are, Joseph. I really have to thank you this time," Mr. Grace said quickly, walking over as Joseph stepped in.
"Uncle Grace, no need to be so polite. If anything comes up, just let me know—I'll help however I can."
"Thanks. Really, thank you. Old Williams, you raised a great son."
After dinner at the Williams' house, Mr. Grace finally headed home. These past few days had worn him out—running around nonstop dealing with company messes. Now, at last, he could relax a bit.
That afternoon, Emma had been holed up in the office, tinkering with her designs. She'd edited them multiple times and only put down her pen in the evening when she was truly satisfied.
"Leo, let's go home."
