Since that morning when Ethan walked out, he hadn't stepped foot back home once.
During this time, Emma had tried calling him, but all she got in return were a few half-hearted responses from Ethan, clearly annoyed, brushing her off. She even reached out to his assistant, who always gave the same excuse—work, late nights, too busy to come back.
