Cameron didn't answer. He merely caressed Rosalie's little face and said, "Go to sleep."
Rosalie nodded. "Okay."
Once she was asleep, Cameron got up and left her bedroom. He walked to the study and stood before the floor‑to‑ceiling windows, staring out for a long time. The image he had seen on Justin's phone replayed in his mind.
He and Hamish had always clashed in business, competing against each other countless times. Hamish was perhaps the only man who could truly rival him. Yet Teresa had still chosen to get close to Hamish, despite knowing he was Cameron's enemy.
How could Cameron not be furious? No matter how strained things were, Teresa was still his wife.
The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. He dialed Teresa's number.
