As she spoke, Luca's expression grew increasingly stormy. When she finished, he slammed his fist down on the desk, causing both Rebecca and Matteo to jump. "GlobalTech," he growled. "I vouched for them. I brought them into our circle."
Matteo stood, placing a calming hand on Luca's shoulder. "We don't know for sure that they're involved. They could be unwitting pawns in this."
Luca shook his head, his eyes blazing with a mixture of anger and betrayal. "No. This is too well-orchestrated. Someone on the inside had to know our operations, our vulnerabilities." He turned to Matteo. "I want everything we have on GlobalTech. Every contract, every meeting, every damn email. And I want to know who's behind Oceanic Ventures."
Matteo nodded, already pulling out his phone. "I'll put our best people on it. If there's a connection to be found, we'll find it."
